Love People. Use Things.

I am continually (rather daily) in awe of the power of love.
I have been gifted by the Universe with an opportunity to share my gift of holding space, practicing energy medicine and offering various tools from my toolkit of healing modalities to teenagers every single day. Some are in acute crisis, while some are scarred by recurrent crisis that has become etched into the very fabric of their Being.
.
.
Their vulnerability and willingness to share, be seen and heard is astonishing.
I have always believed that our youth deserve far more credit and respect.
I would cringe when I heard adults say "I know better than you." OR "The youth are lazy and have no respect for their elders."
Perhaps it is because there hasn't been much for them to respect.
Perhaps they were shown how to disrespect so often that they did not learn how to even respect themselves.
And so the cycles of abuse, neglect, and intolerance are perpetuated.
.
.
Until the cycles are broken.
Until the cycles are rewired.
Until the individual is taught how to choose a different operating system.
.
.
Through tears and shaking, I witness beautiful and remarkable teenage boys and girls offer up their darkest secrets with the hope that they can be proven worthy of love.
So it is through these "flaws," it is because of these secrets, it is in the intimate moments of self-realization and breakdown that the most courageous breakthroughs occur. When I am gifted the chance to be the witness for this to happen, I bow down.
I am humbled.
I am honored.
.
.
We are raising up the future healers, the future change-makers of our planet.
I will do whatever I can to ensure their swift and direct evolution into the greatest version of themselves.
I will continue to help ignite the heat-seeking missile of their deepest desires so that they reach beyond any goal they may have set for themselves.
I will help them find their freedom through unlocking their own prison doors.
.
.
In their transformation, I am transformed.
All I see is love.
All I can do is love.
I can only love.
I can only love.
I can only love.

(Last three lines from "Only Love" in Architect of the Divine: Restoring the Heartspace for Love)
THIS is Love in Action.
