Litha
This solstice of
summer time,
here.
May
the light
shine much longer
and in it’s
glare, be
seen.
Shine
from the
inside with warmth.
For we are
reminded of
time
passing
and shifting
and ever expanding.
We are the
water and
dirt,
apprentices
of the
unspoken great mystery.
May we dance
on the
cliffs
of
what we
imagine to be
our greatest discovery
cradled in
light.
As
the child
laughs at the sun
may we be
still enough
now
to
witness the
magic of love.
It’s unbounded wisdom
wraps us
round-
Plentiful,
forgiving, sultry,
hot to touch.
May we dance
round the
fire
and
whisper our
prayers to flames.
All summer in
a day,
Litha.
Celebrate the Light!
Love,
Maura
