I believe we all deserve the chance to speak our truth.
I believe we all deserve the chance to recover our innocence, especially if it was wrongfully taken at a young age or without consent.
I believe we are not tarnished to a point of no return.
Yes, our lives are dappled and blemished with ill-informed choices, unintentional hurts, subconscious beliefs and failings that have led us to do, say or ignore things that were pushed into the shadows and are yearning and bursting to come forth.
This is not new.
This.
This time of hiding systemic, ancestral hate, violence and abuse is over.
We are being encouraged to heal-to evolve into stronger and more conscious humans.
To do so requires that we:
LISTEN.
HOLD SPACE .
SET ASIDE JUDGEMENT.
HOLD OTHERS ACCOUNTABLE.
BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR OUR ACTIONS.
STEP ASIDE AND LET THE STORY BE TOLD.
AND THEN....
REWRITE A NEW STORY.
We cannot remain victims any longer. It takes up too much energy. It drags you down.
It is an era of SURVIVORS and THRIVERS.
