We begin our fourth week of rite of passage work with the poem, "Surrender of the Healer, " from "Architect of the Divine: Restoring the Heartspace for Love."

Through direct experience with your own inner wisdom, you will being to make the journey from the head to the heart. This requires deep sacred dialogue, self-inquiry and the willingness to explore what may be uncharted territory. We will do so in a way that is creative and aligned with your heart's rhythm.

Class #4 Theme is "Surrender of the Healer"

The definition of surrender is to "cease resistance to an enemy or opponent and submit to their authority."

We often hear this word associated with situations involving war or deep turmoil between opposing forces. More recently, on the path to healing, surrender is used a lot with reference to the Self and a Higher Power or authority. We can be at war with the various parts of ourselves and find it challenging to surrender to the deeper trust of Self knowledge and the part of us that is connected to the Divine I AM.

A line in the poem states, "Healer, heal yourself."

-We all have what we need deep within us but we haven't been taught how to source this information, and, sometimes we become so afraid of our "knowing" and power that we do not choose to use what we have.

-One of the most basic and powerful questions is "What do you need?"

-In our class we will work through a process of identifying needs that have not been met and what are the beliefs we hold, even subconsciously, that say we do not deserve to have it.

-We will work through a deep group clearing/healing using several of the methods that I use when working with individuals in their healing sessions.

-Then we will return to the void of not knowing to gather up messages and symbols.

This class will involve some listening, meditation, visualisation, writing, energetic clearing, and creative expression through art and integration.

*blank white drawing paper

*a candle to light during class

*headphones

*a quiet space

*an open mind and heart
